How to Install Our Leather Saddle Bag

Ready to tote a little extra on your trips around town? Need a spot to stash tools and supplies on-the-go? Tired of rolling up only to realize that you left your wallet at home? Wherever you’re headed, a little on-the-bike storage can make your life a whole lot easier and more organized. In today’s post, we'll walk through installing a leather saddle bag of your own!

What You’ll Need

These leather saddle bags have a handy quick-clip attachment, so once we’ve got the hardware in place, popping the bag on or off for a ride will be a breeze!

Begin by lining up the mount hardware on your saddle’s rails. The three-pronged clip should be on the bottom and facing towards the rear wheel.

Once you’ve got the mount lined up, use the two included 5mm-bolts to clamp both sides to your saddle’s rails.

Tighten each bolt a bit at a time and alternate back and forth between the two so that they both get tightened evenly and everything stays straight and level.

Once the mount’s in place, all you need to do is clip on your bag! Slide the saddle bag’s clip onto the prongs until you hear the “click” – and then you’re ready to roll!

Now you’re all set! Load up your bag, close it up, and hit the road for a test ride.

When you get to your destination, just pop the bag off your bike and bring it in with you, no unpacking necessary!

The only limit now is your imagination (and your legs)! Happy riding, happy hauling, we’ll see you out there.
